We are now enrolling 3K, Pre-K, and Kindergarten students.

Families can apply through MySchools (opens in a new tab). If your child receives an offer, you must accept the offer in MySchools (opens in a new tab) to secure your seat.

Families may also add their child to the West Q Elementary / PS 437 waitlist in MySchools (opens in a new tab). We review the waitlist regularly and contact families as seats become available.

Registration and paperwork will take place in late June each year. Families who accept an offer will receive next steps by email.

3K & Pre-K Supply List

At West Q, we strive to keep school supply lists simple. We ask families to send only a few basic supplies and personal items to help children have a successful start. Optional classroom donations are always appreciated but are never expected.

Please send:
  • Full-size backpack (labeled)
  • Complete change of clothes (shirt, pants, underwear, socks) in a labeled bag
  • Blanket for nap time
  • 1 family photo
  • 1 two-pocket folder (labeled)
Optional classroom donations:
  • 1 box of tissues
  • 1 pack of baby wipes
  • 1 box of quart Ziploc bags
  • 1 roll of paper towels
  • 1 bottle of hand sanitizer

En West Q, nos esforzamos por mantener las listas de útiles escolares sencillas. Pedimos a las familias que envíen solo algunos útiles básicos y artículos personales para ayudar a que los niños tengan un comienzo exitoso. Las donaciones opcionales para el salón de clases siempre son bienvenidas, pero nunca son obligatorias.

Por favor envíe:
  • Mochila de tamaño completo (con el nombre del estudiante)
  • Un cambio completo de ropa (camiseta, pantalón, ropa interior y calcetines) en una bolsa con el nombre del estudiante
  • Manta para la hora de la siesta
  • 1 fotografía familiar
  • 1 carpeta de dos bolsillos (con el nombre del estudiante)

  • Complete change of clothes (shirt, pants, underwear, socks) in a labeled bag
  • 3 two-pocket folders
  • 1 box of #2 pencils
  • 1 box of 24 Crayola crayons
  • 2 glue sticks
  • 1 family photo
Optional classroom donations:
  • 1 box of tissues
  • 1 pack of baby wipes
  • 1 box of quart Ziploc bags
  • 1 box of sandwich Ziploc bags
  • 1 roll of paper towels
  • 1 bottle of hand sanitizer
